Some things have happened this week!~ :9

Wednesday, I met with a Professor Lassota from the University of Warsaw. He teaches Journalism (specialty being P.R., Media Relations) and also works with an Anti-Terrorist division of the Polish (amongst others) gov. >_< BUT, he's a funny old man who has a tendency to over-complement young women in proximity. LOL European etiquette is waaaaay different that in the states.
SO, it so happens that he can't help me directly, as the Photography division with the University is tied in with Journalism, which is a baaaaaane for me. Baaaaaaane. **pulls out stalk of garlic and holy water** HOWEVER, business is business and he has a gazillion connections to choose from. As it is, I have a meeting Tuesday with the ... the guy that will be taking over the Dean's position (Jr.Dean? Assist.Dean? >___< ) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. An un-official interview of sorts. gah.. That is ONE really hard University to get into.

Afterwards, we went to a Pub. An Irish'ish Pub. :3 I only really had sips, as pain killers and booz dun'na mix. We got together with Borys, Wasica, Kasia, and Kuba (who i met for the first time), and of course Sandra was there as well. The drinks were delicious, but waaaaay too expensive and they stinted us on a few. We ended up dropping about 205zl (i got dinner 25zl, since I hadn't eaten since 11 that morning.) Fun evening. Sandra and Natalia got giddy tipsy.

Thursday, Professor Lassota invited us to an art exhibition. An ambitious exhibition.. X6 It was okay. You always meet interesting people at those things...

>Saturday, Natalia's family birthday party, for which she was LATE. Tisk tisk. But the charming girl that she is, no one could hold it against her. O_O sooooooooooo much foooooooood. too much food. And Four different types of dessert. Torte Schwarzwalder, apple cake (with almonds), cheese cake (fluffy as clouds), and a pudding cake. XD SO stuffed with deliciousness.

Sunday, Wisla. We drove out to the beach along the Wisla river and just plunked down for a sun bath.
Back now, gotta work on preparin' a portfolio for the Interview Tues.
